I remember the crisp bite of autumn air, tinged with the scent of fallen leaves and the promise of harvest. Fields stretched out like golden carpets, ready for the eager hands of farmers. Yet, as the years passed, I noticed a subtle shift in the familiar patterns. The autumnal breeze grew warmer, the leaves reluctant to depart their branches. The once reliable rains became sporadic, leaving the earth parched and cracked.

Summer arrived with a blaze of heat, the sun beating down relentlessly upon the land. Rivers dwindled to mere trickles, their banks exposed and vulnerable. The air shimmered with waves of heat, mirages dancing on the horizon. The once dependable monsoon rains became erratic, arriving too late or not at all, leaving crops to wither in the fields.

As I sit here now, surrounded by the echoes of seasons past, I cannot help but feel a sense of urgency. The landscape may have changed, but the spirit of resilience remains. In the face of adversity, communities come together, drawing strength from the land and each other. We plant trees to combat erosion, build levees to hold back the rising waters and advocate for sustainable practices that honor the delicate balance of nature.
